The Frankfurt Major has ended however, the Dota 2 Major tournaments never ends. Valve Dota announces the next Dota Major tournament after the Frankfurt Major and it will be the Shanghai Major next and will be held in Shanghai, China. All aspiring teams who wants to participate in the Shanghai Major tournament must register their team lineup at Dota 2 Major Registration and read the Major tournaments overview or just CLICK HERE TO REGISTER. Note: Be sure to register your team lineup before December 8, 2015. However, the expected date of the said Shanghai Major is on March 2 - 6, 2016, Icefrog announces it.
The teams that have been already registered in the said Shanghai Major must undergo to a qualifier round of their perspective region. And as expected, the Major tournament format will be the same as the Frankfurt Major like there will be 16 teams competing in the main event of the Shanghai Major.
Some says that the DAC or Dota Asia Championships will be no longer to happen because it has been replaced by the Shanghai Major this coming winter, that was just a rumor. We don't know yet if there will be a team invites inn the Shanghai Major, whether they will invite the TI5 Champion or the Frankfurt Major Champion? Whoever the invited teams will be, for sure we will be again amazed by the team strategies, gameplay and matches from the main event and from top rank teams of this upcoming Dota Majors.
