All Random Game Mode in Low Priority Matchmaking.

Valve Dota has changed the matchmaking game mode in low priority game punishments. Before, when you are in a low priority penalty you can play any matchmaking game mode such as All Pick, Ability Draft, Single Draft, Random Draft, Limited Heroes, All Random and Etc. Last February 2015, Valve Dota has changed it and it only allows you to play All Random mode while in LPP. This means that you can not play other game mode and you have to play 5 games in Low Priority All Random mode, otherwise you cannot get out in low priority penalty and will not able to play MMR matches and other game mode in normal matchmaking.

All Random is a type of game mode in Dota 2 found in normal matchmaking section which enables you to pick or select a specific hero you want to play with when the game and heroes has loaded, your hero will be picked by the computer randomly. However if you do not know or particular with the first hero that’s randomly selected for you then you can re-pick another hero just for once. The second hero whose randomly selected for you is the hero you will have to play with in the match, whether you are particular with the or not you have to enter the battle with that randomly selected hero otherwise you will be penalized abandonment.


Because of this Game mode changes in low priority matchmaking, It is now hard to get out in low priority penalty due to All Random type of game mode. Pleasing or convincing a friend to play with you in a team party in a low priority matchmaking is also hard, your friends will not play in a All Random mode especially when it’s in a low priority matchmaking and expect more hero feeding from allies and enemies in a All Random game mode in LP matchmaking. All Random game mode in a LP matchmaking is indeed a punishment to those who are game quitters and game ruiners. With this All Random punishment, many Low prior players will be able to play or practice some hero which they are not particular playing with and will sure improve their hero versatility in Dota 2.

Take note, the result of every match in All Random LPP will also affects the win rate in your Dota 2 profile. Yes, all match results in normal matchmaking will affect the win rate in your Dota 2 profile and only those lobby matches and bot matches will not affect your win rate. However, online and local lobby matches appears in the game history of your profile.
