I have talked to some of my friends and ask for their point of view about the game Dota. Below are their testimony and statements.

"I have no idea about these at all, until one day I asked myself some question. I think curiosity perhaps, as I keep on hearing about this online game, the so called "DOTA". There must be mere something that many of DOTA addict players had seen in the game that I hadn't. Well, my circle of friends were talking about DOTA which is almost of them used to play. No matter where they are, in a party, outside or inside a friends house, school, beach and etc. There were an instance, wherein they were talking about DOTA and I am the one who's not into DOTA at all, I feel like I'm out of placed. While they are talking about DOTA stuffs, I just abruptly interrupt them by saying "okay change topic, I can't relate even a single detail about that at all". I know, I'm not in the authority to tell them that they should stop playing DOTA or say that the game really sucks, when I don't even know everything about that game.

I've heard a lot about being a DOTA player. Playing DOTA will have a long term effects in your life, your emotional stability, your free time... And yeah of course your money. What I heeded the most to those who are playing DOTA, including my friends is that they learned how to trash talk when they get killed by enemies on losing the game. Instead of 8-10 hours of sleep a day, they only sleep 3-5 hours and sometimes does not sleep because of their addiction with the game. Sometimes, they don't attend on some important activities because of addiction to DOTA. They don' t properly eat their meals because they are pump up to play DOTA. They became bony because of the dearth of sleep. Don't have enough time to spend with their family and loved ones because of being too bustle in playing. When they talked to other people, they always talk about DOTA and that's nonsense. Feel upset and annoyed when they outstrip the game. Sometimes they bring some bad attitudes and behavior from DOTA to their house like being angry and moody. When they got famous in playing DOTA, sometimes they're getting hard-headed or confident and sometimes, they don't respect other people.

Not to go further, to all DOTA addict be an individual who is well versed in all facet in life rather than just a pursuit outside one's regular activity especially relation or a hobby. If DOTA is affecting your personal or social life, do take a break and focus on other areas of your lives. The emphasis of life shouldn't be around the match up. So just keep in mind that there is more to how you are long than just the game, and if you feel like freaking out to it, to the point where you can't give attention to anything that is good for you, it is a good idea to temporarily forget the game and find ways in other parts of life."

"According to some online gamer who are also playing DOTA, it has also positive effects. Just like playing endless hours of DOTA ambles the players gaming hobby into a lucrative sports. In-numerous tournaments have leaped up over the years, and they trot out gamers the chance to win hundreds of dollars. Not just through tournaments, players also earn by selling their accounts or stuffs to other gamers. Playing DOTA has also opened the minds of the players. Players were more receptive to new and unfamiliar things. Further positivity is that players do also meet people and learn to interact with them. Players develop their critical thinking because of their so called "strategies" just to win the game. Lastly, thee developed sportsmanship even they lose the game."

"For me, Dota also helped those young Dota players who were able to earn some extra money by just playing the said game. Just like the famous young player SumaiL from Pakistan, He is currently the youngest player of the Dota scene this season and he already received more than 2 million dollars by winning the prize pool from big Dota 2 tournaments like Dota 2 Asia Championship and The International 2015 Championship. Most of children and Dota players admires him because of what he achieved from his young age. I always wanted to try playing Dota though, maybe soon."
